The Team of Researchers at SLPRR is a body of enthusiastic researchers who have a deep-seated interest in the discipline of Sports Law and Policy. The researchers are students at reputed universities and are motivated to contribute to this field.


Ms. Apoorva Pandey

Final Year Student of Law, National Law University, Visakhapatnam.


Apoorva Pandey is a final year law student (5-year Integrated course) at National Law University, Visakhapatnam. She has worked under major law firms as a research intern. Her area of interest includes Sports Law, Cyber Law, Intellectual Property Rights, and Arbitration Law. She is fond of learning and exploring new and developing areas of Law.


Mr. Jatin Lalwani

Fourth Year Student of Law, National Law School of India University, Bengaluru.


Jatin is a penultimate year law student, pursuing B.A. L.L.B. (Hons.) at the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. A trained snooker player and a die-hard cricket fan, he can often be seen discussing and debating about sports in general with his peers and friends. His interest in sports developed while playing various sports in school at various levels. Although, he hasn’t played much in the university, he has found his interest in sports law during this time. Apart from sports law, his areas of interest include corporate law, insolvency law and private equity and venture capital. An observant and motivated individual, he believes in the idea of knowledge and passion over grades and wants to change the usual perception for people to follow up their interest in sports.


Mr. Deokinandan Sharma

Third-year Student of Law, O P Jindal Global University


Deokinandan Sharma is a third-year law student at O P Jindal Global University, whose main interests lie in the intricacies of Sports Law. Apart from Sports Law, his interests lie in maritime and Aerospace & Defence Law. He is a junior editor for Mapping ADR, O P Jindal Global University and a member of the Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access(IDIA), Haryana Chapter.
